Our Story

Building comprehensive justice systems since 2018

Who We Are

Tetea Jamii (Protect the Community) was founded in 2018 by a coalition of lawyers, social workers, and community activists who recognized that justice requires more than legal intervention—it demands holistic transformation.

We serve Kenya's most vulnerable communities through four integrated pillars: Traditional Justice, Digital Age Justice, Economic Empowerment, and Policy Advocacy.

Our Mission

To protect vulnerable communities through comprehensive justice—combining legal aid, digital safety, economic empowerment, and systemic advocacy.
